Use and inventory of the media library

The media library currently contains around 49,000 titles. In addition to an extensive collection of titles significant to film history and aesthetics, the media library contains a wide range of current and historical television programs. The collection of digital media offerings, e.g. interactive works of media art, is still under construction.

Borrowing is only possible in justified exceptional cases, e.g. for the preparation of courses at the institute, student theses or for research purposes.

Media are only lent internally to students and lecturers of the Institute of Media Studies and the Faculty of Philology..
