DESCRIPTION:Online talk with Matthew McGinity about projects in the Immersive Experience Lab (TU Dresden) \n\n\n\nThe Immersive Experience Lab (ixlab.io) at TU Dresden conducts interdisciplinary research into the perceptual foundations\, technology and applications of immersive media – media in which virtual or remote people\, objects or worlds are experienced\, in some way\, as real and present. In addition to experiments and applications in psychotherapy and cognitive science\, education and museums\, the lab frequently collaborates with artists to explore the artistic potency of immersive systems.
